Eltura was founded in 2008 with the objective of providing multiple South African industries and sectors with niche chemical engineering solutions able to satisfy specific needs in different areas.

After a few years of product and market research all over the world, its founders, a group of young South African chemical engineers and researchers, identified amongst the best products and solutions available worldwide. With professional experience over many years within the mining, construction and chemical industry, they were able to identify the specific critical requirements of those industries.

Eltura became commercially active in 2011 when Carlo Fortugno (Doctorate/Master in Economics and Business Management – Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – and MBA – Wits Business School-) acquired the majority stakes in the company. Eltura is now rapidly growing within the markets it is currently serving: it is a young, professional, customer orientated organization made up by young professionals whose passion is to add constant value through innovative, scientific and economic solutions.
